What are the changes in version 6.x for the Enterprise client:
- Copy update in the hamburger menu (Desktop only): Change the term “Privacy Policy” to “Privacy Notice”.
- Copy update in the hamburger menu > Support > Privacy Policy tab: Change the term “Privacy Policy” to “Privacy Notice”.
- The linked page or the content of the Privacy Policy (now termed Privacy Notice) does not change and remains the same.
Why is there a major version upgrade when there are no major changes?
AWS Wickr client is getting rebranded as AWS Wickr and launched as a new AWS SaaS offering
on November 28th, 2022. The Pro client is being rebranded and is getting a major version
upgrade. To keep all the Wickr client versions consistent, the Enterprise client version is also
getting updated from 5.x to 6.x.
When can the client update to 6.x be expected?
Scheduled for January 19th, 2023 release. Will update enterprise.wickr.com with similar notes
and closer to release date.
